Partner for Success

Expert guidance to build a service business you want to run

TRANSFORMING BUSINESSES • TRANSFORMING LIVES

Ongoing support. Clear strategy. Practical next steps.

You’ve built a solid service-based business. But now you're stuck.

You’re smart. Driven. You’ve worked bloody hard to get the business to where it is.

It’s solid. Successful, even. But lately, you’ve hit a ceiling.

Every decision still runs through you. Your days are full, but progress feels slow. You know there’s more potential but you’re not sure how to unlock it without burning out.

You’ve taken it as far as you can on your own. Now it’s time to get the right support to take it further.

That’s where I come in.

This isn’t a course or a one-off session. It’s a partnership.

We work together, month by month, to build a stronger, more valuable business. One that doesn’t rely on you for everything.

I don’t do fluff. I’m not here to give you vague pep talks or tell you to "dream big."

What I do is practical, tailored business advisory support to help you:

  • Get clear on your goals

  • Make better decisions, faster

  • Put the right structure and systems in place

  • Increase your profitability

  • Free up your time and headspace

You don’t need a full-time business partner.

You just need someone in your corner; someone who knows what they’re doing and won’t let you drop the ball.

Who is Partner for Success for?

Partner for Success is designed for service-based business owners who:

  • Want expert guidance to improve efficiency, and decision-making, without needing a full-time business partner.

  • Are running a good business, but know it could be performing better.

  • Feel stretched and need structure, systems, or stronger leadership to support the next stage.

  • Are building their business as a valuable asset, whether for long-term stability or future sale.

What we'll work on

Every business is different. We’ll tailor our work together based on your business needs, but key areas typically include:

Planning and Structure

  • Defining your personal vision - Getting clear on what you want in your personal life so that your business can provide it.

  • Defining Clear Business Goals – Setting clear targets so you know what you’re working towards and how to get there.

  • Business Structure – Making sure your team, strategy, and operations support a profitable and sustainable business.

  • Team & Leadership – Building a team that performs, without relying on you for everything.

Systems and Financials

  • Systems & Processes – Simplifying the way things are done so everything runs more efficiently and consistently, without bottlenecks.

  • Profit & Cash Flow – Understanding where your money’s going, fixing profit leaks, and keeping cash flowing.

  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) – Identifying the numbers that matter most and setting up a system to track them.

  • Pricing - Making sure you’re charging enough to cover costs, pay yourself properly, and still make a profit.

Support and Accountability

  • Advisory Meetings – Regular check-ins to keep you on track and focused on what matters most.

  • Financial & Performance Reviews – Looking ahead, not just back. Understanding variances to budget, improving profitability, and making sure your business keeps growing in value.

  • Accountability & Decision Support – Helping you make confident decisions that benefit your business.

Frequently asked questions

How do I know if Partner for Success is right for my business?

If your service business is solid but stuck ie: too reliant on you, not as profitable as it could be, or lacking structure; then this is for you. It’s best suited to owners who are ready to make changes but need expert support to do it.

What kind of businesses do you work with?

Mostly NZ service-based, owner-led businesses with 5+ staff and more than $500k in turnover. I work with people who are great at what they do but need help making their business less reliant on them.

Do you work with other service-based businesses in my industry?

I only work with one business in the same industry in the same town. I am 100% committed to your success.

Is this a business coaching program?

No, this is tailored business advisory. It’s practical, strategic support with clear actions, not vague advice or one-size-fits-all frameworks.

What happens in our sessions?

Each session is focused on what matters most. We review performance, discuss challenges and opportunities, and agree on clear actions to move the business forward

Can I cancel at any time?

There’s a 3-month minimum to get real traction. After that, it’s month-to-month with no lock-in contracts; just support when you need it.

Will this help me prepare my business for sale?

Absolutely. Many of my clients use Partner for Success to increase business value and get ready for succession or sale.

How quickly will I see results?

That depends on your business and how quickly you implement. Most clients start seeing shifts in profitability, systems, and team performance within the first 2–3 months.

Do we meet in person or online?

Sessions are held via Teams, so location isn’t an issue. If you’re in Hamilton, I’m happy to meet in person.

How do I get started?

Start by booking a free 15-minute check-in call. We’ll see if we’re a good fit, and I’ll walk you through the next steps.
